It might relieve you that you missed the mark with the predictions you had about me, but I _totally_ get the urge to preempt questions others might have.
I also get you in terms of wanting to make something unusual - I simply did not know what your deal was - because I would not thought of your description implying that you are using the Geometry Dash sound effects system 'exclusively'. (I am no musician. To a musician this might be more obvious.)
The "GD" in the user name is very common for users coming from the GD community, so that did not make any neurons fire for me - apart from "Plays GD".
I'm happy to hear that you are not limiting your outlook 'as a general musician' but I feel for you in terms of 'feeling restricted as a concept musician'. And while I 'do get' people 'vent posting' that never stopped me from trying to help. ;) Your problem 'does' seem pretty unique, but other audio artists (like those frequenting the Audio Forum) might be able to offer solutions that could still work in your chosen set of limitations.
Either way, I hope that you will still be able to get some joy out of your work as a concept musician. :)

My name is SoundGD.
My concept is making music IN GD, using the sound effect trigger.
People, have done it, I just do my own thing.
If i wanted to be a general musician (which i do) i wouldn't use GD at all, even if i don't have the tools now. I'll just wait!
In fact I'm planning to and have written a wholeee lotta song memos for professional music in the future!
Point is: My problem isn't that i cant be a musician, is that I'm *struggling* to be a *concept* musician.
And lemme answer whut you might say:
"Sooo your concept isnt lucrative, just stop...?"
Nuh uh, that's the point, that's why im even here. Not to be the first or most prominent, but to show that the concept can go wayyy past where people think right now. And im still unsatisfied.
"Why do you care"
1. It's fun. 2. Why shouldn't i care? Its fairly novel and unique and i think it should be considered more. Even if it dies, i stay!

Mostly to vent, anddd it see if anyone had ideas but hopes weren't high.
